Information

TitleAir Ride 5th Wheel Hitch Assembly
Part Detailed Description
Air Ride 5th Wheel Hitch Assembly.  Commonly used as an Aftermarket Towing Component to Keep the Heavy 5th Wheel Trailers from 'Bucking' under Braking or in stop and go traffic.  Generally there are only a handful of Manufacturers who produce this component as an Aftermarket Part.  Many Manufacturers install them on the RVs as Upgrade with no Brand Name Provided.  The Hitch Functions by having a Hinged Area with an Adjustable Air Bag in the Center to Keep the Shock Load Away from the Tow Vehicle and make the Passengers in the Truck more comfortable.  The Air Ride Hitch is Becoming More Common on the Newer, Heavier Luxury 5th Wheels and 5th Wheel Toy Haulers.  Prices Generally Average $1000.00.  Brand Names Include Airborne Hitch and TrailAir.  Airborne Hitch is Pictured First, TrailAir Hitch Second.  The Airborne Hitch is Nearly Invisible, but can be distinguished by the Silver Bolt in the Front for the Hinge Point.  TrailAir Hitches usually have an Exposed Shock Absorber.
