Sometimes the full name is not known of either a Provider or Claimant when trying to search a bill. As long as the user knows part of the name they can use the % wildcard to narrow down their search.
Example - If the user can't remember the full Provider Name, but they recall that the name contained 'Florida', they can use the following search - %Florida%. That would return a Provider named 'All Florida Orthopaedic'. The percent signs are substituted to mean anything before and anything after.
If the user is sure they know the first word (or letters) they can omit the first percent sign. So sticking with our example, All% would return the same provider (plus all others that start with the word 'All').
