Procedure
Install Ultramate Workstation
  1. If the Mitchell drive is not mapped, follow the How to Map a Network Drive article.
  2. Click Start, click Run, type:  x:\mitchell\aces\ws_setup\setup.exe (where is the drive letter Ultramate is installed to).
  3. Click OK. If prompted, click Run.
  4. On the Welcome dialog box, click Next.
  5. On the Destination Location for Support Files dialog box, click Next.
  6. On the Ready to Install the Program dialog box, click Install. The message Installing Ultramate appears, and Setup begins transferring files. If prompted, click Allow.
  7. On the Setup Complete dialog box, click Finish. If prompted, click Continue.
  8. Mitchell Communications Manager (MCM) installation begins. When it finishes, the Mitchell Communications window opens (and the program icon appears in the system tray).
  9. If you receive a message to restart, click Yes. The workstation will reboot.
  10. Repeat this procedure for all workstations that will use Ultramate.
  11. When all of the workstations have been installed, the Ultramate installation is complete.
Additional NotesDo not use the DVD or the Mitchell Download Manager program to install Ultramate on workstations. Instead, map each workstation that will use Ultramate to the shared folder created on the server, using the same drive letter and directory path for the workstations.

NOTE: Mitchell Estimating should NOT be installed as a multi user workstation for any PC that connects to the shop's network via a WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION. Wireless LAN connections are not a valid or supported connection method
