Creating a Favorite for the ClaimSnap Manager
Creating a Favorite allows for easy access to the ClaimSnap Manager software.

  1. From a machine that is already connected to the ClaimSnap server, open the ClaimSnap software through Internet Explorer.
  2. Make a note of the IP address in the address bar.
    Note: The IP address will be 4 sets of numbers separated by dots.(XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX)
  3. On the new system open Internet Explorer.
  4. Enter the IP address from step 2 into the address bar.
  5. Press Enter.
  6. When the page loads, click the Favorites menu.
  7. Click Add Favorite.
  8. Click OK.

To map a network drive
  1. From a machine which is already connected to the ClaimSnap server, open the ClaimSnap software through Internet Explorer.
  2. Make a note of the IP Address in the address bar.
    Note: The IP address will be 4 sets of numbers separated by dots.(XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX)
  3. After making a note of the IP address, close Internet Explorer.
  4. Open My Computer.
  5. Click the Tools menu.
  6. Click Map Network Drive.
  7. The Map Network Drive window opens.
  8. Select a drive letter which is currently not in use from the Drive drop-down list.
  9. In the Folder textbox enter \\IPaddress\claimsnap\, where IPaddress is the address from step 2.
  10. Confirm that Reconnect at logon is enabled.
  11. Click OK.
The newly mapped network drive opens in a new window. It will also be available in My Computer.
 
Additional NotesIf you are asked for network credentials when trying to map the network drive try using claimtools as a user name and #20FastPhoto20# for the password.  If the shop is on a domain the username will need to be \claimtools to remove it from the domain.
