Procedure
 How to Register With miPortal

  1. Go to www.mitchell.com/support
  2. Click the Register tab

  1. Enter in your Mitchell Account Number, Email Address, First Name, Last Name, and Phone Number
IMPORTANT: The email address, first name, last name, and phone number must match what is listed on your Mitchell account
  1. Click Register - An email will be sent to you with a link to set your password.
  2. Go to your email and click on the link in the email
  3. On the Change Your Password page, enter and confirm your new password using the password requirements that appear on the page
  4. Click Change Password. After you register, you will be automatically signed in. When you visit miPortal the next time, you will be asked to sign in
 
Sign in to miPortal
 
Sign in to miPortal after you have registered. You must sign in to take advantage of features that are labeled with a lock symbol.

 
  1. Go to www.mitchell.com/support
  2. Click the Sign In tab (Sign In tab should automatically display. If the Register tab displays you must click Sign In)

NOTE: If you want miPortal to remember your email address the next time you sign in, click the Remember Me check box 
  1. Enter you email address and password, and then click Sign In.
 
Customize Your Dashboard
 
Customize your dashboard so you only see what you want to see.
 
  1. Sign in to miPortal
  2. From your home page click on Customize Your Dashboard

  1. You can then choose what you want to view on your homepage by  chaniging the roder of the optoins, or click the X next to the item you will not be interested in seeing, then click Apply Changes.

Submit a Case
 
Submit a case online to receive customer service and technical support assistance.
  1. Sign in to www.mitchell.com/support
  2. From your Dashboard, click on Support Case which is located in the Cases field 
  3. Enter in your Contact Name
  4. Select the Issue Type
  5. Type in a description of the request in the Subject field
  6. In the Description field, paste the template submitted by the customer.
  7. Click Submit -  IMPORTANT: If you have an attachment to include, click on Submit & Add Attachment
  8. Enter in the necessary information for your request
View Open and Closed Cases
 
Within miPortal you can view the status of your Open, Pending, and Closed cases you have submitted. Follow the steps below to view your cases:

 
1. After logging into miPortal, click on Cases
 


2. Click on All Cases to view your open cases.
  • To view Closed cases click on List View. Here you can see cases closed within 120 days.

Request Vehicle Information
 
Create a Content Concierge request to get repair procedures, vehicle information, etc. by following the steps below:
  1. Sign in to www.mitchell.com/support
  2. From your Dashboard, click on Vehicle Information which is located in the Cases field

  1. Fill out our required fields within the Content Concierge form
  2. Click Customer Submit
