SummaryHow to get your WorkCenter User ID and/ or reset your password. This article only applies to Insurance User ID's. Please see article "TAC Aid - Passwords Section in User Management" if a shop needs to have their ldap password reset.

Procedure
At the WorkCenter login screen click Need Help Signing In?

1. If you know your User ID and want to reset your Password:
  1. Enter the Company Code in the Organization ID field. (Shops: Enter the Company Code of the Insurance Company you are doing a Total Loss for)
  2. Enter your User ID in the User ID field. (Shops: Enter your Reviewer ID for the Company Code you entered above)
  3. Go to Step 3 below.
     
2. If you don't know your User ID or Password but have an Email Address:
  1. Click Forgot user id?
  2. Enter the Company Code in the Organization ID field. (Shops: Enter the Company Code of the Insurance Company you are doing a Total Loss for)
  3. Enter your Email address in the Email ID field.  (Shops:  This is the email address the Insurance Company uses to send you assignments)
3. Click Send Instructions.
4. Reset Password Success Screen appears.
5. In your email open email with Subject "Mitchell WorkCenter Reset Password"
6. See User ID in email.

To Reset your Password:
7. In the email body, click Reset under Password.
8. When WorkCenter opens, enter the new password in the Create Your New Password field.  (Be sure to follow password rules)
9. Click Save And Sign In.


You are now logged into WorkCenter.   

Note: Insurance Staff Users will also need to update Compliance Utility, Total Loss Off-line, MCM and/or  MDM with the new password.
This is not required for shops. 

 
Additional NotesIf the user is still not able to login in using new password - check password character length. If user created a password with more than allowed characters, have them enter only the allowed characters into password field. This might be the issue if the password authenticates in User Management.
