Mitchell Download Manager: Update Appears Frozen or Hung

Click to update UltraMate via Mitchell Download Manager.  The process starts and appears normal until the installer displays a status bar showing progress.   At this point it stalls and never progresses.

The Net.exe utility is not unloading properly.

1. Open Windows Task Manager.

• Right-click on the Task Bar
• Select Start Task Manager

2. Locate net.exe and select it (This might be listed as 'Net Command').  

• Located under the processes tab for Windows 7.
• Located under More details in Windows 8.1 and 10

3. Click End Task.
4. If a prompt is displayed to confirm end task, click Yes.
5. The installation process should continue normally.
