- Navigate to the %appdata%\Mitchell\RepairCenterConnect directory.
- Right-click the Mitchell.DesktopAgent.UI.exe file and click Properties.
- On the Compatability tab, enable Run this program as an administrator. Then, click OK.
If multi-user UltraMate is used, follow these steps to create an administrator drive map for the UltraMate install:
- Identify the server name and share name for the UltraMate install drive.
- Click Windows Start and type CMD. Right-click and select options to run as administrator.
- From the command line in the administrator command window, type the following:
- net use X: "\\ServerName\ShareName" /persistent:yes (Replace X with the actual install drive. Note there is a space after the close quote after ShareName and before the slash in /persistent:yes)
- Click Windows Start and type regedit. Double-click to open the registry.
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System.
- Right-click on the System folder and select New > DWORD (32 bit) Value.
- Enter EnableLinkedConnections.
- Double-click the entry to open it. Change the value from 0 to 1. Click OK.
- Reboot the computer in order for the registry changes to take effect.
