SummaryWhen registering/activating warranty or downloading latest software updates for Mitchell Diagnostics (MD-200 or MD-350), a message displays "Internet Sync Required".
Symptoms
  • Unable to complete registration of the warranty.
  • Not able to download latest system software updates.
Environment
Cause
  • Not connected to Wi-Fi network.
  • Date/time setting incorrect.
Resolution
Not connected to Wi-Fi network:
  • In Settings > WIRELESS & NETWORKS >  Turn-on Wi-Fi. Select Wi-Fi network and type the Wi-Fi Network Password.
Date/Time setting incorrect:
  • In Settings > SYSTEM > Select Date & Time. Verify the Set date, Set time, and Select time zone are correctly configured.
