Cause
Intrusive or restrictive security software can result in Mitchell software not installing or functioning properly.
Resolution
For Windows 7 Professional, Windows 8.x Professional, Windows 10 Professional, Windows 2008 R2 Server, Windows 2012 R2 Server, and Windows 2016 Standard Server use the following exclusions:

M:\Mitchell\
C:\Mitchell\
C:\ProgramData\Mitchell\
C:\Program Files\Mitchell\ (32 bit)
C:\Program Files\Estimate Review\ (32 bit)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mitchell\ (64 bit)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Estimate Review\ (64 bit)
C:\Cieca\
M:\Cieca\
%localappdata%\Mitchell
%appdata%\RepairCenter

M: = mapped drive for multi-user installs of Mitchell Estimating. The actual drive letter may vary.

Note: These are typical paths. Additional paths may be needed depending on how the specific product is installed. ​Adding application exceptions is a lengthy process and should be handled by the customer or local IT department. All *.exe files in the above folder(s) would need to be added to anti-virus exceptions.
