Symptoms
Opening RepairCenter will result in the message  "RepairCenter requires that the Short Date Format on your workstation be: M/d/yyyy or MM/dd/yyyy. To change your Short Date settings, open Control Panel to Clock, Region and Language settings. Change the Short Date format to M/d/yyyy or MM/dd/yyyy".  An error may also appear on the RepairCenter Whiteboard that states "Some Error...".
EnvironmentRepairCenter 17.3 and later.
Cause
The regional settings are not set correctly.
Resolution
  1. In Windows, go to Control Panel.
  2. Open Region and Language.
  3. Change Format to English (United States).
  4. Click Apply.
